Join us for an unforgettable evening of indulgence. This exclusive fundraising experience is led by celebrated chef Marc Joseph, former head chef of London’s renowned fine dining restaurant Vanilla Black and owner of culinary hotspot E3 Vegan.
In this hands-on session, you will create a stunning seasonal dessert under Marc’s expert guidance. Learn to make a beautifully balanced lemon drizzle cake with a silky lemon posset, vibrant raspberry coulis and delicate shortbread tuile.
Once the desserts are ready, Marc will teach you how to plate them to a fine dining standard using edible flowers and elegant presentation techniques. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills AND take photos of your exquisitely plated creation with which to impress friends and family!
To complete the experience, Marc will demonstrate how to mix a refreshing non-alcoholic mocktail, which you will enjoy alongside your dessert at the end of the class.
This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of London’s top plant-based chefs in an intimate setting. Spaces are extremely limited for this one-night-only event.
By taking part, you will be directly supporting Made In Hackney’s vital food security work, helping us provide community cooking classes that make nutritious meals accessible to all.

This experience will be a mixture of practical cooking, demos and time to ask questions. All ingredients and equipment needed for the class are provided. Please bring your own clean storage containers for any leftover cake!
When you attend a Made In Hackney cookery class, you enjoy an enriching culinary experience and help us fight hunger in our community.
Refunds/transfers: Please understand our charity needs time to resell your tickets as we rely heavily on the income generated by our fundraising classes. We require a minimum of 14 days' notice for any cancellations or transfers once you have booked onto a class. You are also welcome to give your ticket to a friend or family member in case of last minute illness (just email classes@madeinhackney.org to let us know).
Note: This is a fundraising class and the proceeds help us fight hunger in our community. At Made In Hackney we believe access to good food is a human right - not a privilege.
