In this interactive workshop, you'll learn to prepare a menu of authentic dishes, including Roti, Red Lentil Dahl, Rougaille, and flavorful chutneys. Alongside the cooking experience, Safiyah will provide insights into the rich history and cultural significance of Mauritian cooking, making this more than just a class—it’s a journey through heritage and flavor.

About Chef Safiyah Mariyah:

Safiyah Mariyah is a Jamaican-Mauritian chef with roots in North West London. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu London and founder of plant-based catering company SMCO and supper club series Saf’s, Safiyah is dedicated to preserving her family’s culinary traditions while inspiring others with her creative approach to food. Beyond her culinary achievements, she is deeply passionate about herbal medicine and natural living, drawing inspiration from her Rastafarian grandfather and her yogic studies.
