Join Chef Safiyah Mariyah for a vibrant and delicious plant-based cooking class focusing on falafel and pita! In this hands-on session, you'll learn to make:
Crispy Homemade Falafel – flavorful chickpea patties seasoned with herbs and spices.
Soft, Freshly Baked Pita Bread – traditional Middle Eastern flatbreads perfect for stuffing.
This hands-on class is perfect for all ages and focuses on creating delicious, budget-friendly meals! Participants under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult (please note when booking). It’s a fun, interactive way to learn how to cook wholesome meals that are easy on the wallet.
About the Chef
Safiyah Mariyah is a Jamaican-Mauritian chef with roots in North West London. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu London and founder of the plant-based catering company SMCO and supper club series Saf’s, Safiyah is dedicated to preserving her family’s culinary traditions while inspiring others with her creative approach to food. Beyond her culinary achievements, she is deeply passionate about herbal medicine and natural living, drawing inspiration from her Rastafarian grandfather and her yogic studies.
